Tiseh, having resigned his sent on the New Plymouth Borough Council, was the subject of considerable complimentary reference at the Council meeting on Monday, and (he following rcsolulion was ::irricdon the motion of the Mayor and Cr Collis : "That this Council place on record its appreciation of the many years of services rendered lo the publio by Cr Tiseh as chairman of the 1 übhc Health Committee, eh iinnan of the Abattoir Committee, as a councillor, and as the representative of the Co in oil on the Tarauaki Hospital and Char'liable Aid Board, and of the zeal audi ability with which he has discharged his many public duties; that, not withstanding the fact that be has resigned his seat at the Council table, he will be able to see his way to still represent the Borough on the Tarauaki Hospital and Ckaritahle Aid Board".
