Young MaePonald, who is believed to be the third victim of the scow Oban is the youth who, with his brother, walked from Invercargill to Dunedin to witness the reception of the Duke of York. The' Rosamond arrived at New Plymouth at 1 o'clock on Monday and sailed for Onehunga at midnight with the balance of her coal cargo. The Oreti landed a cargo of coal at the New Plymouth wharf on Monday, and sailed in the afternoon for Westport.
