THE DENTAL CONFERENCE.

Dpnkdik, January 5.
The Dental Conference was concluded to-day. Amendments to the Constitution and by-laws were adopted. A resolution was passed suggesting to the University Council the desirability of appointing a duly qualified dental practitioner to the position of principal of the School of Dentistry.
The Office bearers elected were'— President, F. W. Thompson; vicepresident, ,1. S. Atkinson; secretary, Dr. J. J. Jones; treasurer, Dr. A. Paterson, all of Christchurch. It was decided to hold the next Conference in Christchurch.
