RECORD OF THE TOUR. The match with Swansea concluded the official programme arranged by the English Union. The New Zealanders have played 32 matches in the Old Country, and have won 31 and lost one. The Colonials have scored no less than 829 points, while the points scored against them number but 39. Their average score per match is just on 26 points, and the total score is made Jup of 96 goals, one field goal, 109 tries, and six penalty goals, while the 39 points registered against them consist of two goals, five tries, two field goals, and two penalty goals. In view of the prodigious record of 1905 put up by New Zealand in the Old Country, it will perhaps be of in-' terest to instance the performances of other New Zealand teams abroad. In 1881 the team despatched to New South Wales won all its matches. The Native team which visited England in 1888-89 played 74 matches, of which ■l9 were won, 20 lost, and 5 drawn. In ] 1893 a New Zealand team played ten j matches iu Australia, losing one only. Four years later Ausralia was-. visited again with the same result—9 wius and 1 loss. Iu 1903, ten matches were played in Australia, and all were won by New Zealand, who scored 276 points against 13. The next year New Zealand defeated England in Wellington by 9 points to 3, and last year the New Zealand team now in England visited New South Wales, and scored two big wins and a draw.
