PEB MESS ASSOCIATION. ChhistchukcE, January 3. Lightning, during yesterday's storm, damaged the Harbor Board's telephone at Adderley Head signal station, and also struck a tall pine tree at Burwood, near Christehurch, and kindled a heap of dry branches at the foot of the tree, tho fire spreading to a neighbouring shed, which was destroyed. Duriug the height of the' thunderstorm what is stated to be n thunderbolt fell on the beach at Rcdcliffs, i between Christehurch and Summer.
