run I'bess association. Wellington, January 1. In the men's championship singles Parker won the linal. 'Flic ladies championship singles was wonby Miss Nunneley. The men's handicap singles, first grade was won by Quill, and the second grade by Garlick. Tile men's handicap doubles fell to Dickie and Wallace. Wellington, January 2. The Championship Tennis Tournament Was concluded this afternoon. Heavy rain fell all the morning, and the courts were decidedly soft . Fisher and Miss Ward beat Swanston and Miss l'owdrell in the semifinal round of the Combined Championship Doubles: 0-1, 0-1. In the linal Parker and Miss Nunnely beat Fisher and Miss Ward, 8-3, 6-3, and won (lie Championship. Miss Fowdrell beat Miss Itos.- ui the final of the Ladies' Handicap Singles. The Ladies' Handicap Doubles fell Id Misses Powdrell and Campbell. The Combined Handicap Doubles was won by Kivcr and Miss Berkeley.
