DENTAL CONFERENCE.

THE PRESIDENT'S ADDRESS. PER PIIESS ASSOCIATION*. Dunedix, January 2. The Dental Conference was opened this evening. The members were entertained lit a Garden Party at Mr P H. Sargood's residence during the afternoon. In the evening the delegates were welcomed by the Mayor of Dunedin who presided. The President, Mr P. A. Hunter, then delivered his presidential addrcs s on the decay of human teeth. He urged that what was wanted was the framing of reflations for compulsory hygiene and tho examination and treatment of all school children's teeth. With regard to a Dental School, dentists had themselves contributed £IOOO in support of the proposed school. Dr. Colquhon, and T. 11. Sidcy, M.H.R., als* spoke.
