NEW ZEALAND V. SWANSEATHE LAST FIXTURE OF THE TOUR. A SPLENDID STRUGGLE. VICTORY BY A POINT. WALLACE SAVES THE GAME. Received 31, 1.20 p.m. London, December 30. Fine weather favoured the last scheduled match of the New Zealanders, tour, which was played in the presence of twenty thousand spectators. Swansea put a strong team in the field, and the game was stubbornly contested from start to finish, a splendid struggle ending in New Zealand obtaining a dropped goal and Swansea a try. In the first half the Welshmen kept the visitors strictly on the defensive, attacking strongly the whole of the time the spell lasted. The only score which they managed to obtain, however, was a try by Srrine, the result of a fine passing rush. Davis took the kick, but failed to convert. Swansea 3 New ZeaJand 0 In the second half the Welshmen renewed their aggressive tactics, and kept the "All Blacks" hard pressed until Wallace relieved the situation by dropping a tine goal.
