I'EK HtESS ASSOCIATION". Eltham, December 22. Large numbers of axemen are now Hocking into town. To-night Carson and Mcintosh, the champion sawyers from Invercargill, and .T. MeCarn, champion axeman, arrived. W. Prentice (Victoria), .1. Hottro and ,G. Morrison, the West Australian representatives in championship events, have also arrived. It is expected that Clarke and Miley will arrive to-night. Everything points to a record gathering being held. Great interest is. centred in the meeting of Carson and Mcintosh, and Casey- and Petty iu the sawing contests.
