Qats: The doinand is easier, and to make sales a lower rate will have to be accepted, Prime milling 2s Id to 2s 2tl, good to bo«t food 2s to as Ihd, medium Is to Is XXAd, inferior Is IHd to Is lOt}, sacks extra.
BUBNSIDE CATTLE MARKET. Di'xkiiin, December 20. Burnside market Fat cattle—lsC were yarded, the bulk being medium. The demand for prime was good, and prices were a shade firmer than last week, medium being about the same. Best bullocks £ll to £l} }7s del, medium £tt 5s to £lO ss, inferior £7 to £8; best couvs and heifers £7 10s to £8 o.s, medium £C> as to £7; inferior £4 I.os to £5 12s fid.
Fat sheep— <JBB were penned, mostly of medium quality, The demand for prime was keen, but unfinished were hard to quit at reduced prices, Best wethers IDs (id to 225, medium 17s ild to 18s (id, inferior, 14s to 10s (id ; best ewes 18s to 19s lid, medium llis to l!is 'Jd, inferior 10s to 13s lid.
