I LATE RETURNS. i PER MESS ASSOCIATION. j Fkh.ding, December 11. I The official returns for the Oroua electorate arc : Continuance 1807, deduction 1455, No-License 2534. The votes reoawled were 4375, so that no proposal wus carried. Oam abit, December 11.
A re-count of votes on the Local | Option Poll took plaoe in Oamaru today, after which the Returning Officer declared the results to be as follows : Continuance 1818, Reduction 2715, NoLicense 3143. The total number of voters was 4988. These figures give n majority of 149 for No-License over the three-fifths majority. Dukedijt, December 11. Unless the recount discloses something new, No-license was lost at Bruce by 9 .votes, and reduction by 29J. The flguros are:—Valid votes 4043, Continuance 1614, Reduction 1902, NAlicafe 2417,
