CONCERT AT ST. JOSEPH'S.
Those who at (ended the concert lit St. Joseph's Church on Sunday evening were full of praise of the whole performance, laying particular stress on their appreciation of the choral music. Visitors to i\e«- Plymouth fn mother places have stated "that no choir between Wellington and Auckland can be compared witli St. Joseph's whose music is certainly a treat. The orchestral effect in "0 Salutavis " and an "Ave Maria" was very Jine, the soloists being Miss Jiiull'ord and Messrs O'Khea O'Stiliivan, and P. Cornwall. Miss' Radford's item, "0 Divine Redeemer" though well sung, was somcwhi't marred by hoarseness resulting from a , severe eold. Mass." This was rendered without 1 the orchestra, on account of the parts " not beiug procurable, but was nevertlieless well wortli hearing.
