WOOL SALES. (Tcr Press Association.) CHRISTCIIUECH,Nov.2I The first wool sales opened this morning, competition botweon Yorkshire and America being keen Tho greater part of the wool went to fill orders to those places. Merinos were dull, not realising growers' expectations; hallbred was in keen demand at prices a penny in advance of last year There was a spirited competition for crossbred at three farthing ad ranee on the previous season. The highest price for crossbred is one shilling.
