Political Notes.
Mr 0. Tiscli addressed a well attended eeting of electors in Petrie's Hull, Lower Mangorei, Mr G. tiledhill presiding. The candidate was well received, and liis address was delivered in a lucid mai.ner. Mr \V. Ellerin moved, and H. Ranptou seconded, a hearty vote of thanks, which was carried. A similar compliment was paid to the chairman, On Thursday evening Mr 0. Tiseh met the electors in Hurford JRoad School, there hiding a good attendance. Mr J. Greenhill was voted to the chair. The .speaker dealt with a mtmI'er of subjects, being frequently applauded. On the motion of .seconded by Mr S. Greenhill, a cordial vote of thanks w*s passed for the interesting address. The chairman ; lso received a vote of thanks for presiding. Mr Tiscli met the electors of Koru on Friday evening. There was a good attendance. M,i P. F. Buill was chosen chairman, and in his opening remarks stated that the candidate did not require any introduction, as he was so well known, especially in connection with his good work on the Hospital Hoard. The candidate dealt with a large mimbci of subjects, and gave a splendid address, which was well received. Mr Frank Julian proposed a hearty vote of thanks to Mr Tiseh for his very interesting ad Ircss, which he considered touched on all the questions of interest t i farmers, leaving no questions to answer. Mr Putt seconded the inoti >u, which was carried. A vote of thanks to the chair was carried by acclamation.
Mr Tiscli will address the electors in the Theatre Koyal on Friday ovening, 21th.
