Ml 1 E. M. Smith addressed the electors ot Okatooll Thursday evening, The attendance was unusually large and tlie candidate was highly pleased at, the interest taken in his remarks, lie was frequently applauded and at the close was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. On Wednesnav evening at Pungareliu Mr E. M. Smith had a very successful meeting and received a hearty vote of thanks for his address. (Pit I'ross Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 16. Mr JlcLean, a candidate for Wei lington East addressed the electors tonight. He gave entire support to the Government-, favoured the leasehold, and opposed Bible-reading in schools.
