The Holiday and the Weather.
At Christchurcli tlie weather was dull and showery, and there was not a very large attendance at the A. and P. Show. At tiisborne, heavy rain interfered with the holiday fixtures. llemy sotillierlv Wet was cxpcricncul at Wellington,, and all holiday fixtures had to be postponed. In Uanganui the holiday was spoilt by llie lieavy rain which fell all day. Almost ail gatherings at Napier had lo be postponed in consequence of tlie wet.
