A gang, headed by a policeman, entered Habbi Sloush's residence and demanded the key of the safe. Sloush replied that the money belonged to the widows ami orphans, and though tortured 'bo still refused.' The gang were abcut to behead him when his .wife 4 surrendered ftiio key. After 2200 roubles had been taken, Sloush and bis wife were killed.
