the Charge Against Mr Crick, (Received Oct. 31, 11.11 p.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 31. The hearing of the charge against Ml' Crick was resumed at the Water Police Court. Peter Close was the first witness, ami Click, who is conductHig his own case, severely him with reference to his evidence 'before the Lands Commission with a view to showing that Close was aware Parliament would pass a Bill to indemnify him before he agreed to answer certain questiohs. 'fin Magistrate several times admonished Mr Crick on the manner in. which lie was conducting the examination.
Mr Cl ick declared lie would conduct lus ease in his own way., awl meant to have the Commission before the Court.
Nothing freslu was elicited, and Uic casu was adjournal till Thursday.
