A WOMAN'S SAD END.
(I'cr Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Oct. 27. Tin- Coroner held an inquest upon tiie death of Mrs John Driscoll, which resulted [rom injurus anil shuck, received by being severely burned oil Tuesday. John Diiscoll, deceased's husband, said that his wife was B3 \ears of age. awl very feeble, being; unable to nioH' about except with difficulty. She was in bed when last he saw lier prior to the accident. He was also in beil. This was at liaH-nasi seven. He was awakineil by I lie noise being made by Mr Tester breaking in to h.r rescue. The sight of his wife in flames caused him to faint, and when lie recovered. Tester and some others had extinguished the flanies. Dr. Herbert Goldstein stated that deceased died from collapse due to turns and shock.
Other evidence was given, and the jury returned a verdict of accidental icatli.
