WEDNESDAY, OCT. 18. LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. The Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Education Reserves Bill and Gerald John Mueller Enabling Bill were put through the final stages. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. The House met at 2.30 p.m. Mr Seddon said that unless goodi reasons were shown to the contrary, the proposed Parliament of Labour would take p.lacc early next year. The remainder ot the afternoon was occupied with formal business. ' EVKNING SITTING. The House resumed at 7.30 p.m. The Maori Land ' Settlement Bill was under consideration in "committee the whole evening.
