PROPOSED LABOUR CONFERENCE.
A POSTPONEMENT DECIDED ON, (Per Pross Association.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 15. At a function in connection with Ihe Marino Engineers yesterday, the Premier announped the postponement, of the proposed Labour Conference to. a dale to lie fixed later. The President (Mr H'al Goodacrc) ol the local Tradesmen's 'Association has been advised by the President of the Emplayers' Federation that the; majority vote of the Federation is;
opposed to the suggested conference of workers and employers. The Federation considers tliat the scope of the conterence is too wide, also that.
