Action Against Harmsworth.
Halt a Million Involved London, Oct. 10. The Daily Express states that Alfred Harmsworth is the principal defendant in a law suit which is expected to involve half a million sterling. The plaintiffs ore Captain Alexander Beaumont and his wife. They allege that they were induced to transfer certain shares in the paper "Answers" for a bond, the real value of the shares being concealed.
libel Action Against the Standard (Received Cct. 11, 10.-50 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 11. The Daily Mail states that Mr Harmsworth is suing the Standard and Express for libellous statements legarding the Beaumont case in the Standard.
