New South Wales Lands Scandal
(Received Oct. 10, 3.19 p.m.! SYDNKY, Oct. l'l. The outcome of the recent disclosures in connection with the Taylor land exchange cas?, heard before the Lands Commission, is that W. P. Cfick was charged at the Water Police Court on an information laid by Detective Bradley, "That you uid unlawfully,. while Secretary for Lands, accept from Peter Collitison Close a reward of £250 beyond your proper pay and emolument for the performance of your duly as Secretary for LamU." The case was remanded until Tuesday, bail hting .allowed to Crick, himself in £250, and two sureties of Jil')l) each,
