» J* (Received Oct. 8, 4.10 pan) LONDON, Oct. 7. The Pall Mall Gazette mentions that private pourparlers arc in progress towards arranging an alliance ijeeween; Norway and Sweden and Denmark. The Bank of Norway and 105 other banks urged the Storthing, in pursuance of the resolution in June adhering to the Monarchy, to proceed to elect a King to terminate the' unsettled situation.
