Mr Bent, referring to Mr .Tcllhoe's statements in English papers, «nid : "We thought he was bona fide, but lie proved to be a Krugcr." Mr Lent obtained figures from the Labour Bureau which show that the list at the bureau represented four or five limes the actual number of men out of tmployment. On its list were appliciuts who, though they might be employed, kept their names registered.
