LUCKY ESCAPE FROM DEATH
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Oct. 4. i William Hcthcrington had a severe experience whilst going to the cream-, ery this morning. At-the Mangaiti crossing a ballast train ran Into his waggon and smashed it up. The horses were injured. Hcthcrington was thrown out and was taken home in a very dazed condition suffering from concussion of the brain. Hctlicringfn had a marvellous escape from more serious injuries, as he was throwm against a post.
