Probtble Alliance (Received Oct. 2, 10.11 p.m.) St. PETERSBURG, Oct. 2. Reports arc current here that M. do Witte, at the Czar's instance, is promoting aa alliance with Germany. The Novosti warns Russia not to incur fresh calamities by joining Germany in a dangerous, slippery path of anti-British coalition.
