Considerable alterations and mldi'lions had been made to the Chi'b's buildings, ivdding great ly to the appearance of the ground and the comfort and convenience of members. Last season had Inn n one of the most favourable for bowling in the history ef the Club, there being t.",(i days' play with an awragv attendance oi l!:i members. Iluring the season the Chili received visits from Stratford. Klthani Kit/roy and Wanganui (Mul.s, an.! sent teams to Ktralford. The Club's representatives hail been victorious on each occasion. The annual social held last month had proved very successful, the proceeds 'being devoted 1 lo providing in -nittire for lite new i Club room. Thanks were accorded Ibe following members for donations for prizes, etc.. Messrs Paul, Kwing, Cray, 1-raser, (,'ovett. .Sanderson and Alexander.
