Auckland, Sept. 29.-The Corinthic arrived last night. Her officers discredit the report of a large steamer beiag disabled off East Cape. She passed the lighthouse there at 2 a.m. yesterday in company with a small steamer, and this probably led to the supposition that the Corinthic was wing towed, though it hardlv explain* the report made by the scow Weiemai.
