WATKIN MILLS CONCERT. This famous I quintette of musical artists will give a concert in the ■ Theatre "Royal to-night. The combination has been received with enthusiasm in Southern towns, and New Plymouth is sure to greet the members of it with a packed house tonight. The Wanganui press states "There can be no doubt it was the best concert given in Wanganui for a considerable period. It would be idle to speak of Mr Watkin Mills' capabilities. He is an artist who alone can provide a high-class programme. But l»e has now associated with him a trio of vocalists of a very high-class order, and they, with Mons. Parlovilz, form a combination which it would lie very difficult to equal. Mr Mills sang last night) with all his (routed vigor and sweetness. Miss Edith Kirkwood fcs a most pleasing ind excellently trained light soprano ,oice which she uses to the best ad'antage. Miss Gertrude Lonsdale, lie contralto, has also a very fine •cicc, which she has under complete ontrol.
