TRYING TO GET A DISCHARGE. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Sept 27. Mr It. KJ Davis, an accountant who failed over 19 years ago. with debts of the value of £IO,OOO, and remained an undischarged bankrupt, been brought to -notice again through the Official being approached, ami asked, to accept £l5O to obtain Davis' discharge. Inquiries showed that bankrupt had inherited a reversionary interest worth about £2IOO. A Sydney man. who advanced him mcney, had secured an assignment, but this was set aside by the creditors to-day. It was decided to instruct London solicitors to sell tho equity,of tho interest at oacc.
