EVENING SITTING. The House resumed at 7.30 p.m. On the motion to go into Committee ol Supply to consider the usual monthly Imprest Supply! Bill, Mr Massey moved as an amendment that the attitude ol the Government with regard to the land question is not satisfactory to the .House. This was negatived by 39 to 21. The House then went into Committee ot but deferred consideration of the Imprest Supply Bill until some more of the consolidated estimates had been dealt with Votes for the Public Trust, Oovertinwnt Insurance Accident, and State Fire Insurance Departments passed unaltered.
