At Puktkohe, on Wednesday, there was a good muster oi stock of all descriptions, which met with a ready sale. Dairy cows sold from £1 Ills to £9 Ids; ditto heifers, £1 5s to £9 5s ; rt'Oipty cons. £l 15s to £1; grown steers £1 U : s to £5 15s, two to 3-year-old ditto £2 ins to £1 ts; calves lfs to £1 17s. Ueef, at Newmarket rates. At the sale of Mr W. N. Johnson's dairy cows, at Waiuku, on Friday, there was a good attendance, and the cows, being a choice lot, realised good prires, cows in milk selling from £6 10s to £9 15s, springing ditto, £7 5s to £9 ; the bull £9. The dairy averaged about £8 per head. Oil Saturday, at the clearing sale of Mr W. R. Tole's dairy stock, there was a large attendance, and bidding was extra keen, the cows selling from £7 to £23 (which was realised for a grade Alderncy cow, which had calved a fortnight, the price being a record one for a dairycow.)
