{Per Press Association.) HOKITIKA, Sept. 22. In the Supreme Court to-day tlta •breach of promise case, Stratford v. Larson, claim £IOOO, was concluded.' The jury awarded £590. An application was made for a new trial on the ground of excessive damages. In'the Divorce Court, Bain v. Bain, husband's petition on the grounds ot desertion, was adjourned ; MrCartney v. McCartney, husband's petition on ground of desertion, his Honor reserved his decision ; Kiylc v. Kyle and Hollow, husband's petition, a decree nisi was , granted with costs agamstf* correspondents. In >thc case of Harlcy v. Joyce, a decree for accounts, an order was. made ; Overton v. Webb, a claim for £ll9 for wages, was adjourned till next sitting.
