' EVENING SITTING. The House resumed at 7.80 p.m. In committee on tho Electoral Bill, clause 151 was amended in tho direction of limiting tho operation of the clatiso to mock ballot papers alone. Mr Harding moved a sub-clause to make it illegal to deliver to any person on the day of the poll, or during the preceding three days, any memo or telegram beariug on the election. This was lost by 40 to 24. maa | At clause 174 Mr Harding moved that the number of Maori members be reduced from four to three.
