-An old rrsi'leiU of New Plymouth, in thu person of Mrs I'enlirU, wifo of .Mr \V.' Fennell, who predeceased her by sutne jours, lias joim-d the great majority, after in failing health for a considerable time past. The deceased, who will he mourm.il l>y a large circle of friends, was a native of -Hampshire. Captain W. Waller, of lluddar.l-l'arker's steamer Victoria, was a nephew of the deceased. .Mr E. jr. Smith, M.11.K., returns to Wellington this morning.
