Tie Itsun of Bishop Spiess' Party Hiroism of tie Ms (Received Sept. 18, 9.59 p.m.) BERLIN, Sept. 18. The massacre ol Bishop Spiess' parity in German East Africa is confirmed. Hearing of the insurrection, they .were returning to the coast when attacked, and all the natives accompanying them fled. The Bishop tried to persuade bis assailants of the peaceful nature of the mission, but all were killed, tnaoy receiving spear wounds.
