PREMIER CONGRATULATED BY TEACHERS, (Pet Presß Association.) IWNEDiy, Sept. 18. At a meeting l of teachers a, resolution was carried—"That this meet ng, while regretting' that the Parliamentary Committee could not see Its way to make better provision for male teachers now at or about the retiring age, congratulated the Preinier 011 the improvements made in the Teachers' Superannuation Bill particularly -as regards the lowering of the optional age cf retirement for women, and the recognition of hack services : and further, ttaeT" this meeting' urges the Otago manners to support the Premier in his efforts to p&ss tliis satisfactory Bill.
