The fourteenth annual meeting ot the New Zealand Journalists' institute was held ijt the Parliamentary buildings to-day, It was decided that the headquarters of the Institute should bo permanently located in Wellington. Further steps, will be taken witli the co-operation of the Newspaper Proprietors' Association, to ae. cure the assistance of candidates for Parliament towards amending lliet lilbcl law, to bring it into line with thatof England ami Queensland. Mr" J. Liildell Kelly was elected I president and Mr L. Mills Secretary for the year.
