A NARROW ESCAPE AT A RAILWAY CROSSING, (Per Press AUCKLAND, Sept. IS. Dr. Cordon Wad a narrow escapo from a serious accident to-day. In driving over the railway crossing 'he did not notice an approaching train until it was almost on' him. He threw himself out of the car, and thus escaped serious injury, for tho met or car was carried along l toy the train for some distance and eventually thrown over an embankment.
