; Im Blovb to FngitDls Enroling DeUils (Received Sept. 17, 4.11 p.m.) TOKIO, Sept. 16. The Mikasa had entered the har•Uour for repairs ami.repainting when the fire occurred. The worst scene wu that on the second deck, where the majority were trying to extinguish the flames. It was here that most of the casualties happened, tho men being blown into fragments over hundreds of yards into the water, which .was crimsoned. A large percentage 01 the victims were scalded to death, and were unidentifiable. Many were below, battling with the flames, when the ship foundeml. It is reported that Jjie explosion resounded in the far distant hills.
