Arbitration Court.
(Per Press Association.) OREPUKI, Sept. 9. The Arbitration Court opened hero to-day, ami further employees' evidence was called emphasising the testimony of Green in Invercargill. The compensation claim, Janet Droomhall v. the Southland Sawmilling Company, was settled by agreement for £230. Jiroomhall was disnflsscd by the mill manager, but stayed on, taking the place of another man for a few days The head bushman acquiesced, but the manager knew- nothing of the arrangement. |Brdomhall was killed three days after, arid the liability of the company was a nice question.
