Fatal Accident at a Rifle Range.
~ - mry The Marker M (Per Press Association.) NELSON, Sept. 10. A fatal aocMent occurred on Saturday at the opening of the new range of the Wakatu Mounted Rifles at Stoke. There was a considerable attendance, and the wife of Captain Trask fired the first shot, after which firing was continued. One shot was not marked, and, after no responsa to other shots, an examination was made, with the result that the marker was found dead, having been shot through the head, Hie marker, Oharls Mills, was about 34 years of age.
