Destructive Earthquakes.

Entire Villages Destroyed Many Lives Lost. ROME, Sept. 8. A violent earthquake almost destroyed Pizzo, Martiranoand Monleleonc in Calabria. There wero many victims.

Seven persons were killed at Monteleone and many are homeless.. Twen-ty-seven persons in gaol were injured.

There wefe alarming shocks at GV tan/.aro, Messina and Regglo. (Received S e pi. 10, 4.31 p.m.) ROME, Sept. 9. The earthquakes caused 300 deaths. Entire .villages were destroyed, and 2200 people rendered homeless at Mar, tirano, while 100 were -killed at Stefanacout, 65 at Sangregorio, 60 at Triparni, and 50 at Fjscopio, Reports are still incomplete.
