(Per Press Association.! AUCKLAND, Sept. $. The Inspector-General of Schools informed the Auckland Board this morning, by letter, that a final settlement of the question of establishing district high Schools in Auckland .'- and at Otahuhu would be made when he was able to visit Auckland, which; could not be till education matters! had been disposed of by Parliament. Mr Hogben pointed out that it was possible for children who hail (qualified for admission to district high schools to begin their secondary studies in the Seventh Standard. Mr Rice (Secretary to the Board) pointed out that this would only to a way out for those who remained under J3 years of age, and Mr Parr ' said that it was no answer to the fact that four months ago the Department had promised thecste'Mishrnentof a school in the city.
