To Renovate Picture Frames. THE great disadvantage about GILT PICTURE FRAMES is that (hoy so noon lose their brightness, nnd very few people seem to Know how to remydy matters other than by sending the frames away to be regilded, which is rather an expensive process if the frames arc at all large and massive. This, how-' ever, is quite unnecessary, for if tho following directions are carried out the frames will look like new for a mere trifle. To a pint of water add sufficient Flour of Sulphur to mak« it ft nico golden colour, and thre* or four bruised onions. l)oil well together, and then strain. When quite cold the liquid should be applied to the dull frames with a soft paint brush, and the result will be sure to give satisfaction. T. MCE, AGENT.
