DRAINAGE EXTENSION IN CHRISTCHURCH
(Per Press Association.) CHHISTCHURCH, Sept, 5. The Christehurch Drainage Board at a special meeting held this afternoon, adopted a motion authorising the promotion of a Bill in .Parliament ito authorise Wtc Boarti to borrow' £IOO,OOO for the extension of the sewage system throughout Greater Christehurch. The Board's solicitm' stated that Sir Joseph Ward had informed him that if the Standing Orders regarding the advertising ami depositing of Local Bills > were complied With,, the Bill would have the support of the Government.
