Another Egg-laying Record.
(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHUHCH, Sept. 4. The statement foe the eighteenth. week of the egg-laying competition at; Lincoln College shows that 894 eggs were laid during the week, making I the total «M 4to date. The best I day's laying since the start of the 'competition was on Sept. 3, when 1139 eggs were laid. The highest for the , week are W, B. Cowlishaw's ! Black Orpingtons, 34 ; t Mr George Roijlinson's Black Orpingtons, 33; Mr ■H. Leger's Wyanrioites, 33. The highest fcr eichtcen wrefcs are :—Mr H. Hawke, Silver Wvandottes, 431 ; Mr J. M->nn.
