Bawdcn, a member of tho London Stock Exchange, has given London institutions £100,00(1, including £IO,OOO towards the in- * corporation of a I niversity College of London University, £IO.OOO to the East End Emigration Fund, and £IO,OOO to the Children's Country Holiday Fund, £30.000 to various hospitals, and other sums to charities.
