A meeting of the Kginont Road Hoard was held at the office of the secretary (Mr I'. 0. Morton) on Saturday. Present : Messrs 'l'. Rowell (Chairman), F. Snlway, .1, .Martin, F. Davy, and li. Martin. The Treasury notified payment of £HI lis f'rd subsidy; also that the £.*>(* l loan required for Queen and Albert Itoads had been provisionally ap proved. The secretary was instructs ed to advertise the loan, obtain the signed assent of the ratepayers interested, and have a plan of the special rating district prepared. Mr Martin was authorised to have the llnngat[hau bridge over King Road repaired for pedestrian traffic. Accounts amounting to £37 were jifins"3 <or payment. i
